These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of sitesecuris.com and any audit, scanning, monitoring, or protection services offered by SiteSecuris (“SiteSecuris,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our free audit tool, submitting our contact form, or purchasing a paid plan, you agree to these Terms. This is a general template and not a substitute for legal advice tailored to your business.
1. Description of Service
SiteSecuris offers a free preliminary website audit tool (checking SSL configuration, HTTP security headers, firewall/WAF presence, commonly exposed files, and malware/phishing blacklist status) and paid plans for ongoing malware scanning, firewall protection, vulnerability monitoring, backups, and reporting, as described on our Pricing and Services pages.
2. You Must Own or Be Authorized to Scan the Website
You agree to only submit URLs for scanning that you own or have explicit authorization to test. Do not use our audit tool against third-party websites without permission. We reserve the right to rate-limit, block, or refuse scans that we reasonably believe are unauthorized or abusive.
3. Free Audit Tool Disclaimer
Our free audit is a preliminary, automated, point-in-time check. It is not a comprehensive security audit and does not guarantee that a website is free of vulnerabilities, malware, or other security issues, nor does it guarantee that a website will not be compromised in the future. Results should be treated as a starting point, not a certification of security.
4. Paid Services, Billing & Cancellation
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, unless otherwise agreed in writing) at the rate shown on our Pricing page at the time of purchase. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law. We may change our pricing or plan features with reasonable advance notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our Site or services to: violate any law; scan, probe, or attack systems without authorization; interfere with or disrupt our infrastructure; reverse-engineer our tools; or misrepresent your identity or ownership of a website submitted for scanning.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, software, and reports produced by SiteSecuris remain our property or that of our licensors. You may use audit reports we generate for your own business purposes, but may not resell, redistribute, or represent our tools as your own without a separate written agreement (for example, our agency/white-label plans).
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Site and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that they will detect every possible security threat.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SiteSecuris shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of our Site or services, including any security incident, malware infection, or data breach affecting a website you submitted for audit or protection. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold SiteSecuris harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your unauthorized use of our audit tool against websites you do not own or have permission to test, or your violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our Site or services at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in abusive behavior, or used our tools against unauthorized targets.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our Site or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SiteSecuris operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
